Electronic/dream pop project Blue Foundation offers a inventive reconstruction providing an intricate glitched-out, industrial-inspired take on Allies For Everyone’s “Supernatural” with jarring drums and enveloping dark keys. The remix is out now on KID Recordings.
“It’s about the connections between still photography and the moving image with artistic reference to the french filmmakers of La Nouvelle Vague. We were interested in poetically portraying the image of a woman’s sexuality and the conflicting feelings of holding on to someone while at the same time wanting to let go.
Our attempt was to capture the overall atmosphere of the song by visually depicting the sense of longing, flirtation, foolishness, claustrophobia, and the deep sensuality of a woman. As if soaring through a dream. ?Popping out of the video are images of songstress Sara Savery making out with a hot boxing clown.
The video concept was created by artist Tobias Wilner and Sara Savery and was shot over two days by Tobias Wilner. It takes place in a tiny apartment in Paris, starring both Sara Savery and Brooklyn based actor, Parviz Nor.”
Tobias Wilner(Blue Foundation) and Sara Savery did the the music and sound design for this new short by Lionel Koretzky for Nowness.
The film is inspired by Henri-Georges Couzot’s test shots of Romy Schneider which overlays the passion of real-life couples with the sparkle of jewelry from leading designers like Christian Dior, Solange Azagury-Partridge and Bernard Delettrez.
We can proudly announce that Sara Savery has been nominated for the best score music by the Danish Film Academy next to the oscar nominated “A Royal Affair”. This is for the score work she did for “You And Me Forever”.

VICE/Noisey premiers Brooklyn-based electronic/dream pop duo Blue Foundation’s new video “Just a Hand”. The track is from their forthcoming album, In My Mind I Am Free, out May 22nd through Dead People’s Choice Records.
The video is an excursion through the streets of Los Angeles and New York on skateboard. Tobias Wilner says of the video, “I asked my old friend Simon Weyhe to make a video for “Just a Hand”. He had done some stuff with Arto Saari and Rune Glifberg I really like. He asked me to fly out to L.A. to shoot a little road movie. He wanted to shoot some skateboarding and some random stuff with me and stop motion. I was pretty terrified by the idea because I hadn’t touched a skateboard in almost a year, because of a twisted ankle, but I agreed to do it. All the footage was shot in L.A. over 2 days, except for the NYC bit.”
