Noisey premiered Blue Foundation’s new short documentary “Broken Life.” The film follows Pepper, a charismatic homeless man living on the streets of California for the last 30 years. The video is directed by Colin Kennedy and Daniel Duarte.
The track is from their forthcoming album, In My Mind I Am Free, out May 22nd through Dead People’s Choice Records.
VICE/Noisey premiers Brooklyn-based electronic/dream pop duo Blue Foundation’s new video “Just a Hand”. The track is from their forthcoming album, In My Mind I Am Free, out May 22nd through Dead People’s Choice Records.
The video is an excursion through the streets of Los Angeles and New York on skateboard. Tobias Wilner says of the video, “I asked my old friend Simon Weyhe to make a video for “Just a Hand”. He had done some stuff with Arto Saari and Rune Glifberg I really like. He asked me to fly out to L.A. to shoot a little road movie. He wanted to shoot some skateboarding and some random stuff with me and stop motion. I was pretty terrified by the idea because I hadn’t touched a skateboard in almost a year, because of a twisted ankle, but I agreed to do it. All the footage was shot in L.A. over 2 days, except for the NYC bit.”
Blue Foundation did the soundtrack for “Go All Day” by Colin Kennedy and Steve Berra. You can now vote for the movie for the Vimeo Festival.

Dear everybody
During the next couple of months I’ll be a bit too busy to be announcing “Soundtrack of My Day”, so I’ve made you a list of some of the records that have meant a lot to me over the years. Records I’m still listening to after 10-20 years.
I’m trying to stay away from the computer as much as possible and am spending my free time (if I have any) skateboarding. My main focus right now is on the upcoming Blue Foundation live shows, video’s, producing Findlay Brown etc..

The tv series Chuck will conclude on January 27, 2012. Ghost Society will appear in the two-hour finale with their song “Your Hands”.

A lot of people has mailed us regarding the new Blue Foundation album.
We can’t give you any information yet about the new album. The only thing we know for sure is that it will be released in 2012. So sorry!! We know it’s done and Tobias is working hard on the artwork, but they will not play anything for us. He’s mysterious running round at night in NYC taking pictures. They say they want it pure and unheard as possible. We’re not quite sure what that means, but they have informed us that we should relax. They say that it’s without any doubt the best they’ve ever created…. It’s all we have for now - DPC Records
We are proud to announce that we finally will release Sara Savery’s “The Diver” in Denmark today! Rest of the World TPA very soon.
We think that Sara has created one of the most beautiful albums we’ve ever heard. An amazing clever production mixed with an astonishing vocal and song writing. Congratulation Sara!

Apparatjik: international supergroup. Experimental art band. Artists collective. In short: a little sensation. Magne Furuholmen (a-ha), Guy Berryman (Coldplay), Jonas Bjerre (Mew) and producer Martin Terefe – four stars in futuristic, fantasy uniforms in a glowing cube. Pop meets science fiction, fashion meets Dada, Graz meets Apparatjik.
