Tobias Wilner(Blue Foundation) and Sara Savery did the the music and sound design for this new short by Lionel Koretzky for Nowness.
The film is inspired by Henri-Georges Couzot’s test shots of Romy Schneider which overlays the passion of real-life couples with the sparkle of jewelry from leading designers like Christian Dior, Solange Azagury-Partridge and Bernard Delettrez.

We’re so happy to premiere the new song “Lost” from Blue Foundation’s forthcoming album “In My Mind I Am Free”. “This song means a lot to us and we’re so, so proud of our cooperation with Sara Savery (Ghost Society, People Press Play). Hope you like it!” - BF
During the next couple of months I’ll be a bit too busy to be announcing “Soundtrack of My Day”, so I’ve made you a list of some of the records that have meant a lot to me over the years. Records I’m still listening to after 10-20 years.
I’m trying to stay away from the computer as much as possible and am spending my free time (if I have any) skateboarding. My main focus right now is on the upcoming Blue Foundation live shows, video’s, producing Findlay Brown etc..
I’ve made a list of some of the records that have meant a lot to me over the years. It’s the soundtrack of my life though I’m sure I have forgotten a few. Enjoy!
Best
Tobias Wilner

// Official Blue Foundation “Eyes on Fire” Music Video feat. dancer Masha Greif.
The video has been shoot in the nightclub “The Black Hole”, in the Russsian city of Chelyabinsk. Located in the foothills of the Ural Mountains.
During the Cold War the city did not appear on any official maps and was a closed off atomic zone, which produced tanks and the first atomic bomb of the Sovjet Union.
For 45 years, Chelyabinsk, was closed to all foreigners and journalists .
Only in January of 1992 did President Boris Yeltsin sign a decree changing that.
For decades the atomic complex Mayak has let out radioactive water directly into the Techa - Chelyabinsk largest river. Scientists and enviromental organisations call the area ‘one of the the most polluted places’ on eart.
Besides its warindustry, the city is has a very vibrant dance scene. Masha Greif, is a solodancer at the Chelyabinsk Theater of Contemporary Dance, lead by the Choreografer Olga Pona. Masha Greif is one of the best dancers in Russia and winner of ‘The Golden Mask’ dance prize 2007 in Moscow.
This video is dedicated to the art scene in Chelyabinsk.

The song is a nice little pop tune named “Hollywood” released on the UK label Moshi Moshi Music back in 2000. “I remember I produced it in my total trashed bedroom 9 - 10 years ago, on very, very shity equipment. I think it got a very special and naive sound” says Bichi.

Blue Foundation will represent Denmark at this year’s Hultsfreds Festival, bringing their seamless and intense live show to Sweden on Saturday the 14th of June at 10 p.m. So are you into Swedish hipsters, Blue Foundation…. etc, circle the weekend of 12th-14th June in your calendar, and come and help us add a little red-and-white to the blue-and-yellow mix of Sweden’s biggest music event of the year.
After our two sell-out concerts in Store Vega last Autumn, we fancied playing somewhere a bit different in Copenhagen this Spring. Instead of going bigger, wilder and more explosive, we thought about which surroundings would most suit our music. We didn’t just want to cram a venue with as many people as possible; instead, we’re offering a very special experience for the audience as well as for ourselves, so we’ve chosen to play five exclusive, intimate concerts in an unusual space with its own mood and atmosphere. Each concert will have seating room for just 150 people.Because we’ve created music for a variety of films (among them ‘Miami Vice’ and ‘Drabet’), we thought it would be fitting to play in a cinema. So we chose Byens Lys because, apart from being an all-round fantastic venue, it’s also Denmark’s only cinema with a sandy floor. A unique, one-of-a-kind oasis in a town which wasn’t just built, but which has evolved over many years and lives. We’ve definitely had a lot of our most intense musical experiences in small clubs and venues - often with no more than 50 to 200 people in the audience. And in this environment people can feel witnesses to something really special. The gigs imprint themselves on the consciousness and stay with you the rest of your life. Of course, big concerts are memorable, but nothing compares to the vibe of a small, intimate performance. We hope you’ll find the time to come by this old cinema and enjoy Byens Lys with us on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of May.
Big ups and see you there
Details for the shows at Byens Lys in Christiania , Copenhagen:
we have uploaded most of our releases at Last FM. There you will find most album tracks + rare stuff and remixes in full length versions.
Rare stuff such as tracks from our first ep to remixes by Future 3, The Prunes, Jim Rivers, 16 Bit Lolitas, Mikkel Metal, Run Jeremy Band aka Buda & Trentemøller a.m.o.
We released our 3rd album “Life Of A Ghost” on the 24 september 2007.
Since then we have had a big change. Our bassist player and friend Sune Martin has left the band to continue to work on his solo stuff. We wish him all best for the future and knows he will do well. He recently did the soundtrack for the David Lynch documentary, and it’s really beautiful music.
After doing some press we went back into the studio where we currently are rehearsing for the tour. We are really looking forward coming out to meet you.
More about the tour you can find in Events.
