Sara Savery’s album ‘The Diver’ is out now worldwide! Buy the album here!!
We’re so proud to have the opportunity to release Sara Savery’s awesome debut album. We’ve been fans of Sara Savery since her release of the People Press Play record at Morr music back in 2005, followed by the Ghost Society album in 2010.
There is no intermediary between the artist and the listener. It’s a pure sounding record, coming directly from the artist. Produced, written and performed by the artist herself. No music business-factory- assembly line madness trying to make everybody happy here. You like it or you don’t. It’s dreamy, slow and extremely catchy. Electronica, indie, shoegazing. Call it what you want. To us, it’s the sound of Sara Savery. Simple as that.
We started up with a premiere of her song ‘The Diver’ at On Jay’s-Z Life&Times followed by a premiere of the beautiful video for her song ‘Angel’ at Diffuser. The video is directed by Janus Metz, Winner of the Grand Prize at the Cannes Film Festival. Her second video directed by Tobias Wilner was premiered on Earmilk and Vs. Magazine.
Sara has been called an ‘effortlessly sexy singer’ by Highsnobiety. The german magazine DE:BUG wrote ‘When she sings, it’s a nonchalant ease on sparkling clear melodies’. Prefixmag calls her singing a ‘repeated pleasure’.
We hope you’ll dive in and enjoy this record as much as we do! - (DPC Records)
Watch her latest video directed by Tobias Wilner below.
“Solid debut” - WRUV 90.1 FM
“Sara Savery is an artist with an intriguing and beautiful sound. A sound that will cause you to immediately think, “Okay, I like this.” The next day you’ll find yourself thinking, “Okay, I really dig this,” and the following day realize, “Wow, I’m in love.” - Highlight Mag.
“Sara Savery tells us to keep our eyes closed, but it’s hard to do this when the video for her track, “Eyes Closed,” is as stunning as the song addcting.” - Earmilk.com
We love Anders Trentemøller so this is extra AWESOMENESS!
We can announce that you can find the vocals from Sara Savery and Tobias Wilner also known as Ghost Society on the forthcoming album from Trentemøller next to guest appearances from Low, Jana Hunter, Marie Fisker, Kazu Makino (Blonde Redhead), Sune Rose Wagner (The Ravonettes) and Jonny Pierce (The Drums). What a line-up Anders!

We’re so happy to premiere the new song “Lost” from Blue Foundation’s forthcoming album “In My Mind I Am Free”.
“This song means a lot to us and we’re so, so proud of our cooperation with Sara Savery (Ghost Society, People Press Play). Hope you like it!” - BF
During the next couple of months I’ll be a bit too busy to be announcing “Soundtrack of My Day”, so I’ve made you a list of some of the records that have meant a lot to me over the years. Records I’m still listening to after 10-20 years.
I’m trying to stay away from the computer as much as possible and am spending my free time (if I have any) skateboarding. My main focus right now is on the upcoming Blue Foundation live shows, video’s, producing Findlay Brown etc..
I’ve made a list of some of the records that have meant a lot to me over the years. It’s the soundtrack of my life though I’m sure I have forgotten a few. Enjoy!

Blue Foundation meets Apparatjik: Tobias Wilner and Bo Rande will join Apparatjik as a part of the project at The Festival of New Art, Graz Austria on October 15th 2011.
Apparatjik: international supergroup. Experimental art band. Artists collective. In short: a little sensation. Magne Furuholmen (a-ha), Guy Berryman (Coldplay), Jonas Bjerre (Mew) and producer Martin Terefe – four stars in futuristic, fantasy uniforms in a glowing cube. Pop meets science fiction, fashion meets Dada, Graz meets Apparatjik.

We decided to start a film production company at Dead People’s Choice a year ago called DeadPeople’sChoice Film. We love music and we also love films. We love to tell stories. Most of all we want to set focus on some of the issues that surround us in this world. We have been doing a lot of cooperations over the last couple of years from Twilight to Miami Vice, documentary films, TV series, skateboard films, you name it.
Our first DeadPeople’sChoice Film production was the documentary “Tankograd”. It has done really well so far. “Tankograd” has received two awards so far - Camden Film Festival and Art Doc Fest 2010 in Moscow. It has been nominated at HotDocs Film Festival, CPH Dox and The Magaret Mead Film Festival.
Our new production “Chips and Liver” has just been selected for Rotterdam Film Festival. — Tobias Wilner

“I love to skate with the local kids. There is no bullshit. It’s only you and your skateboard and the few punks around you. Punks who don’t give a damn about who you are but only want to do their next trick. It makes me happy… It’s honest and beautiful….” (Tobias Wilner)
“When Blue Foundation played Roskilde Festival 2004 the band consisted of members from countries as diverse as Japan, UK, DK, Brasil and US at the same time. It was so good and very inspiring for me. I have learned a lot about different cultures over the past years… It is the diversity of the band that makes the band so unique…” (Tobias Wilner)

No More Heroes live 7 Nov. at Pumpehuset Check: Myspace.com/nomoreheroesdk
Bichi is in studio mixing the debut album from No More Heroes. No More Heroes is a project from old Blue Foundation member Anders Mannov.
People Press Play, Bichi and No More Heroes supporting spring tour
We have some xtra good music with us on the Danish spring tour .
3 artists will join us on the road playing at various shows around Denmark ( See details in Event section)
No More Heroes
No More Heroes debut album will be out in the fall on Dead Peoples Choice Rec. the label of Blue Foundation. No More Heroes is a one-man project by Anders Mannov, early member of Blue Foundation. Everything is made in his dirty bedroom, on crap equipment, shity guitars. As a live act No more Heroes is a 5 member band. It reminds us of lovely bands like M83, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Sonic Youth etc. But most of all it’s the nice melodies, catchy song the noizy guitars we like. We have been waiting for this release in 7 years. Listen here:
Bichi was founded a few years back by Danish producer, Tobias Wilner as an outlet for his solo ideas when not being a busy part of the indietronica band Blue Foundation. With Bichi, Tobias has the full control of the output, which is more instrumental and focusing more on digital beat manipulation compared to the band sound. Bichi has released an album “Notwithstanding” on Opiate aka Thomas Knaks label Hobby Industries in 2005. The vocal on the album comes courtesy of is wife Sara Savery (People Press Play). Bichi is working on his new album and it will be released in 2009.
Listen and enjoy Bichi www.myspace.com/Bichi
People Press Play
People Press Play is Thomas Knak, Sara Savery, Anders Remmer and Jesper Skaaning. PPP did a lovely support for Blue Foundation at Vega in December 07. Blue Foundation love their sound. Vocalist Sara Savery has worked with Bichi on various tracks released on Cactus Island(UK) and Thomas Knak’s label Hobby Industries.
PPP is nominated for and Danish Music Award for ” Best electronica album” in 2007
